“Hindi viewers, please don’t regret it later when it airs on TV and internet.” I mentioned this in my review of KGF Chapter 1 after watching it in theatres. And today, as I watched the second chapter of this epic action saga hit theatres, I found myself blown away by the gripping plot, gorgeous visuals, stunning action sequences and most importantly, Yash’s screen presence as Rocky. I can safely go on to say that my hopes were not only met, but also exceeded by this great sequel.

KGF Chapter 2 Movie Expands the scale and story introduced to us in Part 1 and raises the bar. The makers were certainly quite confident in making it, and it shows in every single frame. From beautifully portraying KGF (Kolar Gold Fields) to explosively choreographed action sequences to elevating Rocky’s character on multiple occasions, he has shown that he knew what the audience wanted, and without any hesitation. Hassle promised product. I was also glad to see heavy cheering and whistling throughout almost the entire duration, and some credit also goes to the dialogue writer. The music was also good and was delivered without interfering with the storytelling (though a song in the second half wasn’t really necessary).

The biggest plus point of the film is its screenplay. From reintroducing our favorite characters and introducing new ones, to creating conflicts and backing them up with explosive action, KGF Chapter 2 Movie has all the elements of a proper mass entertainer. There is not a single scene where it feels dragged or overdone. Sure, it feels long at times, but it never gets boring, and with the many twists and turns, the story remains interesting till the end.

One thing I definitely want to tell the audience is to just get up and walk away after the credits begin. There’s a mid-credits scene, and it’s an important one. Also, if you love period action movies then KGF: Chapter 2 movie is a must have in your watchlist. Finally, I am very happy and proud to see a film I liked in 2018, which has received a lot of publicity and audience with its second part in 2022. KGF Chapter 2 Movie: Box Office storm….

The ship’s captain and his entire crew director Prashant Neel deserve a standing ovation for making a giant.One should not even think of watching it on OTT platform and insulting KGF: Chapter 2 full movie.To say nothing more, it was a theatrical experience that could be experienced once or twice a year.

Hey, God. What did I just watch! KGF Chapter 2 Movie is the blazing, adrenaline-pumping, high-stakes sequel to the era-defining Part 1 that propelled not only Prashanth Neel and Superstar Yash but the entire Kannada film industry to national prominence. The team has clearly made the best use of the high budget received after the success of the first film, keeping the emotional resonance from the original intact and detailed, well-written and intelligently shot and largely heightened. Edited scenes that will last you longer. Amazing climax.

We are reunited with our protagonist, Rocky Bhai as he takes control of the Kolar Gold Fields after slaying the demonic “Garuda” in the first film, resulting in an entire box of worms with everyone from Garuda’s vengeful uncle opens up. The Prime Minister of India “Ravika” (Raveena Tandon) is trained by “Adheera” (Sanjay Dutt) at his lucrative fiefdom. Their casting choice is revealed to director Prashanth Neel, as both these Bollywood stalwarts bring their A-game as dangerous adversaries, pitted against Yash’s sheer swag and star power.

National-award winner Prakash Raj filled the void left by legendary Kannada actor Aanand Nat not returning to the franchise for personal reasons, while the rest of the returning cast played their roles well, most notably Ayyappa. P Sharma as “Vanaram”, Harish Rai as “Khasim”, Achyut Kumar as “Guru Pandian” and Govinda Gowda as cheeky “Office Assistant”. Srinidhi Shetty is not described as Rocky Bhai’s love interest “Reena”, their romance tracks bordering on the extreme case of Stockholm syndrome, the only hiccup in the otherwise innocent mass masala entertainer.

Prashanth Neel’s ability to smoothly juxtapose the main timeline with the childhood flashbacks of Rocky Bhai means that the character of mother, played by Archana Jois, makes an even more emotional impact on the KGF: Chapter 2 film, in which The mother-son bond continues to be the glue that holds what would otherwise have been a shallow mass outing.

Prashanth Neel has made the innovative mass elevation sequences an art form and with Yash’s natural badass and a star of swagger as his foil, Autism has clearly engulfed the earth-shattering scene with the sheer scale and scope of its set. Leveling up, let loose without sacrificing on ingenuity. And the ability to capture the audience by surprise. The intro sequences of our three primary characters played by Yash, Dutt and Tandon are precisely choreographed to create maximum mass impact and are custom-made to play the strengths of each artist. While Neil uses heavy silhouettes to portray Dutt’s eyes and his ruthless and brutal nature, along with Tandon, he is inspired by India’s Iron Lady, Indira Gandhi, to showcase the sheer unexplainable power exerted by her character. resorts to the use of minimal hand and facial gestures.

And what can I say about Yash that hasn’t been said yet? Indomitable swag, a natural shyness and obnoxious body language mean he is a natural fit as a morally ambiguous gangster and it is this same nature that adds to the unpredictability of KGF: Chapter 2: The Full Movie Universe with audiences constantly On the ropes, unable to guess or understand what the mad mafia will do next. Music director Ravi Basrur follows the same rich vein as the first part, elevating each punch sequence with layers of emotion and goosebumps, switching effortlessly from the towering heights of “Sulthana” to the emotionally fabricated “Thannaan”. Huh.

“KGF: Chapter 2 Full Movie” due to its director’s editing and staging skills as other recent Indian blockbusters like “Pushpa (2021)” and “RRR (2022)”. That’s incredible action and a narrative that keeps you constantly guessing and at a knife’s edge. An essential theater watch! Highly, highly recommended! And don’t forget to check out the after credits scene! With flamboyant style and mesmerizing writing, Yash’s exquisite costumes that enthralled the audience with his character in Chapter 1, takes it to a whole new level.

He found an opponent who is on his level.Adheera played by Sanjay Dutt is simply majestic.Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen is very good.The entire cast lived up to the role and much more.Yash has written most of his dialogues which are on a whole new level.The writing of KGF: Chapter 2 Movie, DOP, costumes and most importantly background score has placed this piece of KGF in the list of masterpieces made by India.Mother’s spirit worked well in this too, except in Chapter 1 not to be repeated.

KGF: Chapter 2 Movie has all the qualities of Chapter 1, the only difference is that they are scaled up, enhanced and done in a better way.The action sequences are very intelligently choreographed.Overall it is definitely worth watching in theatres. KGF Chapter 2 Full Movie is bigger, bolder, better and densely packed with engaging screenplay and of course dialogues that add to the emotions.

Especially considering it as a genre of Indian action film for the masses, KGF: Chapter 2 Full Movie not only exceeds the expectations in the quality of writing and production. This in itself sets a benchmark higher than anything we’ve seen before.

The soundtrack is phenomenal and the soundtrack’s switch between violent action sequences and mother-son flashbacks helps convey the appropriate emotions at the right time.

The action scenes are just as good if not better than the prequels.

This was simply due to the excellent quality of dubbing, perfect partnerships and promotional efforts when releasing in other languages. Lastly, when KGF Chapter 2 is hitting the screens 3.5 years after its predecessor, cinema lovers across India have also lovingly embraced it in some parts of the world. KGF Chapter 2 Movie is an intricate and detailed filmmaking for a gangster action drama. Director Prashanth Neel’s attention to detail is what sets it apart from the rest of the action/drama films. With only 3 films in the last 8 years, it seems that he has already established his own brand of filmmaking.

While the first part showed us the rise of Rocky Bhai after Garuda is separated from Garuda in KGF, the plot of the second part is a bit more complicated and political. The description of Chapter 2 is almost like a biopic of a real gangster (or should I say monster :P).

The cinematography, art direction and background score take almost every scene to a different level. Adheera’s introduction scene literally begins with “Burning Bridge”, associated with her entry into Rocky’s territory. This KGF: Chapter 2 is just a sampling of the many cleverly executed scenes throughout the film.

Any colorful scene with a dark sepia type of tone suits the director’s narrative perfectly. The action sequences are executed and edited like art and are not unnecessarily over the top. One of the fight scenes, which is barely relevant to the plot, still makes for a great watch just because of the background narration and camerawork.

The dialogue writing continues to impress, and it is one of the best films I have seen in Kannada cinema in my lifetime. The songs may sound like a continuation of Part 1 music, but their visual treatment makes you hum and cheer. The song ‘Toofan’ has a scintillating mini recreation of Part 1 and is perhaps the best example of Neil’s brilliant execution.

The KGF Chapter 2 movie franchise has focused a lot on each and every individual characters. No matter how big or small the role, almost each of them gets their own description and introduction.

This turns out to be both a boon and a curse, especially in the movie KGF: Chapter 2. The character arc turned out to be a bit abrupt for some roles, but I think it’s a sacrifice the director must make for optimal running time.

It does not affect the character of Rocky Brother and the development from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2 is handled seamlessly. Yash’s dialogue delivery as Rocky will forever be his trademark. Almost every line of Rocky Bhai’s character is a punchy dialogue and Yash delivers all of them in a jarring style. He occasionally brings in Al Pacino shades from Scarface. Sanjay Dutt as Adheera has a great screen presence as an antagonist, but somehow his character lacks a strong conflict with the lead role and a detailed backstory to better establish his purpose.

Srinidhi Shetty gets a long time on screen and does a good job with very few lines. In the end his character becomes too mainstream and I believe the director had planned it keeping in mind a certain segment of the audience.

Prashanth Neel has cleverly handled the dubbing of Raveena Tandon and has not tried to force her lip sync in Kannada. It also serves the purpose of his being in Delhi as Prime Minister. All the other supporting characters contribute to the film’s uplifting moments.

Harish Rai as Chacha is a very well written old school supporting character and salutes the director for creating the right mix of veteran and new age Kannada film actors.

KGF Chapter 2 Movie is not just a mass entertainer. It is the perfect artistic execution of a film’s story and all its departments have to be given credit. It is an event to watch in one’s lifetime and if you are a Kannada, you will be walking out of the theater with pride.

Like KGF 1, KGF 2 Movie is also on top, so if you were a fan of KGF before, just choose this movie KGF: Chapter 2 Full Movie. Don’t go watch KGF 2 full movie just because of promotions and stuff, watch KGF 1 first. crazy for masala movies

KGF: Chapter 2 can easily be forgiven for its over the top nature of just having some great performances and interesting storytelling. It is exactly the same story as KGF 1 but director Neil takes it a step higher. It is this interesting story that has caught my attention in Part 1 and still in Part 2.

BGM is just earthquake inducing.. It is very loud but it is so electrifying that it elevates any scene where Yash will be present. I personally enjoyed BGM. The dialogues are again the typical chest thumpings you’ve come to expect from South India. But they hit hard and are good to hear. Especially from Yash’s mother.

Full of whistle/clap worthy scenes be it Yash or Sanju Baba, both have got some great dialogues that make the whistle sound.a demonstration. Lead or side actors all have done a great job.

The cinematography and setting of this film is just top class. Sure you can feel the green screen background in places but what is in front of that green screen is just mesmerizing. Rustic and raw-looking. The mines are so well set that the gray tones and everything give that rustic look. strongly influenced.

The climax fight is a treat. All hell breaks loose. That last fight felt like I was watching some battle from a state movie where two kings of two kingdoms are fighting. The perfect treat for spice lovers. As Adheera and Rocky start their fight, the fire goes out, it is extraordinary to see. Absolute value for money view.

Negatives – a volume number 10/10 the reviewer will tell you but I will highlight them. 1. Stretched ending 2. Some hilarious fight sequences. I am not a die-hard fan of any south film, so when I see action like this, it definitely feels very exciting but at the same time makes me laugh at least once. 3. An absolutely unnecessary romantic song in the second half which unnecessarily adds to the length of the film which is already stretched towards the end. 4. There is a car chase sequence in the first half (that IMO just looked like the climax of race 3 lol).

Didn’t like the way it was shot, the start-stop way. Would have enjoyed a full sequence instead in that start-stop fashion. Also, wait, wait. There’s a scene in the last one involving Rocky that seemed to be inspired by James Bond: No Time to Die ending sequence.

Overall, if you are a die-hard masala movie fan or even if you love KGF 1, you cannot miss out on KGF 2 Full Movie. Whether you pay Rs 200 or Rs 1700 for the most expensive cinema, you will feel completely satisfied. PS – I do not glorify or celebrate such films.
